It makes sense that so many people are turning towards their iPhones as their primary cameras these days (and to a lesser extent their iPads and iPad minis). You have your phone with you all the time, and it has a better than decent camera. The built in Photos app on iOS gives you very basic editing options -- crop, rotate, fix red-eye and enhance -- but it doesn't allow the fine tune control you may actually want when fixing up those iPhone photos.

There's not a lot that Moshi makes that we don't like, and the Versa case is no exception. This looks like a simple, everyday folio case, but the lines on the front are a hint of just how versatile a case it really is.

The case has a smart sleep/wake function, meaning that when the cover is closed the iPad goes to sleep and wakes up when the cover is open. The rigid polycarbonate back protects your iPad from scratches, dents and dings while securely holding the iPad in case. The front of the case is made of microfiber, so it won't scratch the glass, and it folds like an origami into various shapes that hold your iPad at the perfect angle for viewing, typing or playing.

If you are a touch typist, the iPad's on screen keyboard can be a little frustrating -- the keys are well sized, but you can't rest your fingers on the home row and so may end up losing some words per minute. A bluetooth keyboard can be the perfect solution.

iCloud can seem baffling, which is why we offer classes on it frequently (and which is why that's one of the most popular classes we offer). Today we thought we'd talk about why we like Photostream -- and how it can do more than you are probably using.

Photostream pushes photos that you've taken on one device to your other devices. "Push", in this case, simply means that the photo is being sent from your phone to Apple's iCloud servers and from there to your other devices. So if you take a photo with your iPhone, it's sent to iCloud (over a wifi connection) and then iCloud sends it to your iPad and computer. On your iOS devices, it simply reads the photos from the cloud, so it doesn't take any additional space. On your computer, it will import the photos in so you can keep a complete master library.

There are lots of photography apps for iOS out there -- from Apple's own iPhoto to the ever popular Instagram, no one's suffering from a dearth of choices. New photography apps have to offer something interesting to even make a ripple, and Days does that.

What is it
Days is an iPhone app (it will run on your iPad but not in full resolution). It's free and requires iOS 6.0 or later. The idea behind it is to make a visual record of your day -- no filters or editing, just snapshots. It also helps you create animated gifs of moments. When you're done, you can publish your day and share it with friends or with everyone.

We've mentioned before that we're big fans of Lifeproof Cases, especially for Cape Codders who spend so much of their time on or near the water and sand. We've seen firsthand the results of an iPhone's accidental tip into the ocean, and we want to help people avoid that.

We've added a few accessories to our stock of Lifeproof products. The Lifejacket, available for the iPhone 4/4s, fits around your Lifeproof case and acts as, well, a lifejacket. Great for boaters -- a water proof case is great but out in deep water not a huge help if the iPhone sinks!
We've also added belt clips for Lifeproof cases -- a much requested item! Keep your iPhone 4/4s or 5 handy and at the ready with a sturdy clip.

More and more people are dropping expensive cable subscriptions as they move to a streaming setup. Even for those of us who aren't ready to cut cable ties just yet (sports & local news!), cutting back on the expensive cable packages and supplementing with streaming is pretty common. Today, we thought we'd talk about some of our favorite streaming apps.
